Theta Capital Management benefits from the complementary skill sets of its staff, an important pre-condition for successfully managing portfolios of hedge funds. All members of our investment team have a background in investment banking, financial markets and asset management. 

An extensive relationship network within the hedge fund industry, as well as with outside parties (investment banks and asset managers, where many hedge fund managers gained their trading skills), helps us to source promising managers at an early stage. In addition, the members of our Advisory Board have extensice experience in the areas of alternative investment management, investment banking, and academics. 

The technical background of our senior analysts supports our structured and quantitative approach to portfolio construction. Our staff has a profound knowledge of the quantitative tools of modern portfolio and risk management, and has developed proprietary tools to deal with the specific risk characteristics of hedge funds.
