Hedge Fund Glossary

Early 2008, HFR has released its new hedge fund Strategy Classification System. The objective is to define pure strategy and sub-strategy buckets which can be used to charaterize strategy returns at each level of analysis. HFR has also added specific new fields pertaining to regional investment focus. Going forward, Theta will be using the HFR Strategy Classification System for reporting, performance attribution and other analysis. Download
