Administration & Client Reporting

To support our investment process, Theta employs a dedicated portfolio management / administration system. This provides our portfolio managers with 24/7 access to all portfolios managed by Theta, through a secured web-based interface. In line with our ambition to provide best practice transparency, clients with a segregated account can get access to their own portfolio through the same system, providing a level of transparency which very few fund of funds are willing and able to offer their clients.

 

Weekly

Publication of performance estimates for Theta Multistar Fund and Theta Deep Value Fund on our website.

 

Monthly

Theta sends out monthly reports for Theta Multistar Fund, containing the fund NAV (established by an independent administrator), a manager commentary with market and portfolio developments, and a broad set of performance attribution and risk-return statistics. Clients with a customized portfolio will receive customized reporting, including an extensive performance attribution and risk report.

 

Quarterly

Theta Quarterly Review contains a review of financial markets trends, performance of various hedge fund strategies and our portfolios, our views on topical issues in the hedge fund industry, and internal research at Theta Capital Management. Release of the Theta Deep Value Investor Letter; a fully transparent overview of developments in the fund with a detailed performance discussion for each underlying hedge fund.

 

On a frequent basis, we visit clients to inform them about developments at the company level, the portfolio level and, if relevant, about any changes in our investment approach. This open and transparent communication provides the basis for long-term client relationships based on mutual trust.
